First of all, 3500 calories is approximately 1 pound, you're minimum daily calorie intake should probably be no less than 1500, and running for an hour burns around 700 calories. So.. try to cut around 200-300 calories a day until you reach an intake of around 1500-2000 calories per day. Then start running for 30 minutes a day, following this pattern: 15 minutes warm-up (progress from light jog to medium run), then 15 minutes cycle (2 minutes light jog/ 30 seconds sprint). So assuming you calorie intake is around probably 3000 calories a day (1500 deficit), and you burn 400 calories from running, 30 days x 1900 calories/ day = 57000 calories lost, which in turn is equivalent to 16 pounds. OR cutt out ALL types of sugar, meaning no fruit, potatoes, sweetcorn, white rice, alcohol, milk, because they all contain natural sugars (fructose, lactose, starch, alcohol etc...) It works similar to the atkins diet. If you starve your body of sugar, then your body will go into a state called ketosis where your body uses your fat cells to produce glycogen, which is the sugar that your body has synthesized from your fat. The result is fast weight loss. You must stick to a strict diet for one month. You can only eat: brown rice, any meat (proper meat not processed), any fish (proper fish not processed), any green vegetable, salad, eggs, onion, garlic, spices, olive oil, water, black tea or coffee (unsweetened). |
