Question: How do lose belly fat fast in about 5-6 weeks?
(Posted by: ♥ on 2010-03-25 08:54:47)
Im 72 kilos (11.7 stone). That's heavy for my height (5ft) but I know I don't look heavy. Most of my weight comes from muscular legs and arms with the exception of my flabby belly. Me and my sister are going to do a indian dance and it should be completed by 6 weeks. But for the dance to look good, I need the body for it :P Most of me is ok but I want to target the belly more since I'm going to be showing it a lot in the dance. I go to the gym, but my workout isn't doing much for my belly. It's just doing the arms, legs and thighs. Is there a workout I can do at home (to save money) that will flatten my stomach within the next few weeks? While I'm here, is there also an excersise that will tone the inner thigh and Triceps? Thanks. |

Jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have to work double on them. The best approach is this: 1. Lower/ control your daily calorie intake (control for normal weight, lower for overweight). 2. Run/ jog to lower your overall body fat percentage. 3. Target your problem areas with exercises. an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture, for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your body back, until it's parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week, guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat - if you have any - six pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these crunches - I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week. |

Stomach crunches and sit ups will work wonders. You must be prepared to put in alot of hard work though. |

Hiya! I found my belly was my main problem area too - I found some really good tips on a website that really helped, and you do get quick results compared with other things I had tried. What I liked was the fact that you are shown how to get a flat tum without doing endless sit ups, which apparently are not the best way. Wish I had known that sooner... Hope that it helps you too! Best of luck with the dance, JoP |

You are truly kidding yourself if you imagine you don't look heavy at 11.7 stone and only 5ft tall. If you have a flabby belly you are consuming too much carbohydrate - cut the low fat products! |
