Question: What schools in the u.s can you major alternate energy?

I want to build my home green and then start a hobby upgrading homes to green but i would like to go to school for it to. i have been reading books and plan on visting a few homes but that is not enough for me. green is going to be the future so i would like to start now. pluse help to make the world better

No one I know of has an undergraduate degree of that type as far as I know. There are green oriented programs at the graduate level. Sustainable technologies etc. If you are really focused on this, find a good school in general and then design your own major.

I don't know if that is a major. I know there are many schools where you can basically create your own major, you just have to talk to the administration and get it approved and stuff. Also, it might be advisable to look at a more general major that is available more widely like environmental studies.
