There is enough oil in the US to replace every drop of oil that comes from all foreign sources and it will last for over 100 years! Coal can be converted to a fluid fuel that will be as clean or even cleaner than the oil we now use! Coal in rough form does not require special handling like gasoline or kerosene until it is converted to a fluid fuel. At the end of World War II the German army ran almost all of it's tanks, ships and planes on fuel derived from coal! With today's technology we can make a fluid fuel cleaner and more efficient than what was used 60 years ago! |
