Hovercar in alternative fuels?
Why isn't hovercar in the list of " alternative fuel using car" ? I mean if you induce magnetic force on the bottom of the car using electric current like a motor , and the roads are stripped with thin steel. There will be way less friction for the car to run like bullet train .and combine that with solar power or biofuel or hydrogen power or whatever, since you need way less energy to operate a hovercar due to near zero friction , and therefore it won't put strain on the use of alternative fuels so we can have bigger hovercar carrying heavenlier stuff just stop the throttle to but the break in the car, and turn off the electromagnetic force to park the car. I'm not good with physics, but this is one of the background info for my story. Is this concept flawed in some way?if so, why?
Do you think is important to use alternative fuels like biodiesel? 10 pints!!?
What do you think??....explain your answer please D
How much energy is released by burning alternative fuels?
Why aren't alternative fuels like biodiesel more popular? 10 points?
why aren't alternative fuels like biodiesel more popular?... Why don't more people use them?
Another question about alternative fuels: what happened to the GM diesel cars of the 1980s?
I remember that GM built some diesel powered cars in the 1980s. It seems that this could be an answer to the gas problems we have now cheaper fuel and abundant. Why not try it again?
5. How much energy these alternative fuels provide – this can be in ‘how many miles they give to the gallon’ (?
I want to develop alternative fuels, what major am I?
I want to develop alternative fuels utilizing solar and other renewable energy sources. My goal is to make aviation green. What will I major in? Please help I'm applying for colleges now because I'm a senior and I need an answer ASAP
Why is using alternative fuels better?
i dont need social reasons like the money aspect i need scientific reasons like less pollution and the earth can regenerate more oil without us continually taking it.. what other scientific reasons would there be and please explain.. also if there articles on the internet that would be great
What is the most promising of all the alternative fuels for cars and transportation?
Car alternative fuel?
i have to write about the scientific aspect of car alternative fuel. im not a car person so its kinda confusing. what are some main points like ... a list of the different options for running cars....what are some of the benefits scientifically for these fuels and some of the drawbacks....and also if you can just give some general info about cars and alternative fuels that would be great like i said im not a car person ....thanks
What do you think of a new law: high gas tax with $ set aside for alternative fuel development?
I have to do a speech on public policy. I'm not sure if this is already enacted in many places. I don't even drive. Gasoline is taxed, right? But taxes would be increased, which would probably mean people would look for more fuel efficient automobiles quit driving Hummers . A large portion of the money from the tax would be earmarked for developing and eventually implementing alternative fuels perhaps the one with the algae . This would be better for everyone because oil won't be available forever at the rate it's used, oil causes wars, it's bad for the environment... people will probably use public transportation more.
What alternative fuel will be good for this?
I'm planning to use alternative fuels for the internal combustion engine for a car project Chem E Car competition and I need to know what alternative fuels that can be used for the combustible engine.I would also appreciate it if you guys can give me a link to whether this had been done by others in previous years. Thank you so much
Reasons for using alternative fuel instead of petrol?
reasons for using alternative fuels such as biogas, hydrogen, ethanol and methanol instead of petrol?
What is the most promising alternative fuel, and why?
From my former research it seemed algae was it. Does it still need a lot of work to be developed and implemented?I think it would be great if the US would increase taxes on gasoline, and earmark a big portion of the money to develop and implement alternative fuels I'm going to give a public policy speech for my speech class and had to pick a law to enact or change
