What would my job prospects be like?
To get into Renewable energy, what is the best degree for me to study?
Is it better to study 'Green energy technology' at Leicester uni, or study an engineering degree, probably electrical eng? This question is not about the aging energy infrastructure or any other existing problems. It's about the introduction of renewable energy at a speed that requires a major energy grid overhaul. The reason for injecting renewable power now is described exactly in the report quote above to mitigate climate change.So your point about the report being about more than renewable energy is moot.
