Your teacher screwed up. They're all renewable. The answer s/ he's probably looking for is natural gas. However, any time you have cellulose decompose in the absence of Oxygen you get natural gas. So if wood (not listed) is a renewable energy source then so is natural gas. Also, if s/ he is going to baulk at that answer explain that the sun has a finite amount of fuel and will eventually burn out. So technically solar power is not renewable. Wind is generated (ultimately) by the sun. So wind is out too. The sun will eventually go red giant and consume the inner 3 planets... guess hydro is out too. Your teacher didn't spend too much time thinking about this.

B, natural gas. You can't make more natural gas, well sort of... :) Wind will never stop blowing. Solar energy comes from the sun which will never stop shining. And I believe hydropower comes from water, which is always around.

B. Once it's gone, it's gone.

B. natural gas. Are you just checking that people know this stuff?

It's B...kind of the only one that would make sense out of those. :]

I think it would be B.natural gas because a lot of natural gases are nonrenewable.
