Question: Approximate cost of building a basic storage shed with office area. looking at app. 5000 sq ft building.?

I would expect the cost to be in the $25 to $50 per square foot range depending on the design, location and local requirements. To get a really good ball park estimate you really should talk to a couple of local contractors. They are usually willing to provide advise. Just watch out for those who want to low ball you on their guesses. Just be sure you have a full detailed description of what you want before you move ahead. The FHA used to have a really good fill in the blank specification that you could use as a help in defining what you want.

Depends on where and how it's built . guesstamation= around 25 to 50 thousand. if it was me doing the job. i'm not greedy.

Where? And what type of building? 120,000--200,000. plus? This would be Alberta. Land not included!
