Question: Do you need planning permition to put 2 small storage sheds in your garden?

I live in the uk. I also want to put a small wooden kennal do I need planning permition for this. Any advice would be much appreciated thanks in advance. |

You do not need planning permission for putting a shed in your back garden in the UK. You do not need it for a kennel either. |

No you do not need planning permission for sheds as they are a portable structure. |

No i don't think so we have just put one up about the same size as that and didn't need planning permission as long as the sheds aren't effecting neighbors views etc i think that you should be fine without planning permission hope it helps :) |

As long as you are not obstructing anyones view or blocking any neighbours light out, it is fine. |

Something that size shouldn't need any type of permit but its still always best to check with your local city clerk before making ant purchases. Also check with any neighbor hood associations that may be prevalent around you as they can cause you trouble if it doent fall within the standards that are set for your area. |
